La red CW de Nexstar y la Conferencia Pac-12 continúan su colaboración, incluso si algunos de los equipos asociados al grupo ya no están presentes.
La cadena de televisión y la liga deportiva universitaria han extendido su acuerdo de derechos hasta la temporada 2030-31. Según los términos del acuerdo, CW televisará 13 partidos de fútbol americano de la temporada regular el próximo año, durante la temporada 2026-27, junto con la transmisión de 35 partidos de baloncesto masculino y 15 de baloncesto femenino. CW también transmitirá las semifinales y el campeonato del nuevo torneo de baloncesto femenino Pac-12. Pac-12 Enterprises, la división de producción de la conferencia, producirá todos los partidos de fútbol americano, baloncesto masculino y baloncesto femenino, con un total de 66 eventos anuales.
La Pac-12 original se disolvió el año pasado cuando USC y UCLA, y posteriormente otras, se unieron a otros grupos. Estas decisiones dejaron a Oregon State y Washington State como los únicos miembros del grupo. La nueva agrupación, que se lanzará en 2026, también incluirá a Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State y Utah State. Gonzaga se unirá para deportes no relacionados con el fútbol americano y Texas State será el octavo miembro del fútbol americano. La Pac-12 ya ha llegado a un acuerdo con CBS Sports para transmitir algunos de sus partidos.

We are also excited to bring Pac-12 men’s and women’s basketball to our viewers featuring some of the most dynamic and celebrated collegiate programs in the country.”
Pac-12 has been on CW since the 2024 football season, and will be telecast by the network in 2025. The CW’s most-watched college football game of the year was the matchup between Washington State and Oregon State in Corvallis.
